What Is It?

The Honeywell Versatilis™ Transmitter uses the long-range, low-energy LoRaWAN® protocol to efficiently relay data relating to equipment, the environment, and gaseous emissions over large areas. It also supports BLE communications for quick and reliable configuration and troubleshooting.

How Does It Work?

The transmitters combine best-in-class MEMS (micro electro-mechanical system) based sensing technology with a low-power design, open & secure wireless communication technologies, and user-friendly installation and operation.

The Honeywell Versatilis Connect is a mobile application that provides the flexibility and scalability to perform complete device configuration and initiate LoRaWAN provisioning.

What is it?

The Honeywell Versatilis Connect is a mobile application that provides the flexibility and scalability to perform complete device configuration and initiate LoRaWAN provisioning.

How Does It Work?

The Honeywell Versatilis Connect application is capable on running mobile devices, tablets and PCs. The application is designed to connect and communicate with the Honeywell Versatilis Transmitters via Bluetooth to configure, set limits, view live and historical data, and allows the user to locally download .csv files for easy portability into other software.

The Honeywell Versatilis Connect app provides an efficient and user-friendly way to:

• Configure and maintain the devices through online mode
• Configure devices through importing offline templates
• View live data readings

The Honeywell Versatilis Experion EHM solution is an on-premises, end-to-end remote monitoring solution designed to monitor the Honeywell Versatilis Transmitter product line.

What is it?

The Honeywell Versatilis Experion EHM solution is an on-premises, end-to-end remote monitoring solution designed to monitor the Honeywell Versatilis Transmitter product line.

The solution provides:

• Build and maintenance of plant hierarchy (Site->Asset->Transmitter)
• Bird’s eye view dashboard with overview of plant assets
• Historization and alarms based on measurement
• Easy drill down views to individual transmitter
• ISO based asset health reports
• Diagnostics to determine transmitter health

With additional licensed features the solution provides:

• Advanced vibration analytics for fault verification and alerts
• Asset health report generation

How Does It Work?

The Honeywell Versatilis Transmitters are configured via the Versatilis Connect BLE app to communicate to the specific LoRaWAN region infrastructure. The Connect app allows the user to specifically configure the transmitter for each asset, download data files (.csv) and provides a live dashboard while being utilized.

The simple architecture utilizes a commercial off the shelf LoRaWAN gateway to provide seamless data integration to an on-premises PC that operates 2 virtual machines (VMs). The Chirpstack VM is a LoRaWAN network and application server utilized to decipher the payload data from the transmitter and sends the data via MQTT to the Experion EHM VM software. The software provides visualization of parameter trends and alarms.
