Stainless Steel Enclosures

Our incredibly durable Type 4X stainless steel enclosures can be installed indoors or outdoors and are ideally suited for wet environments. Type 4X Stainless steel enclosures also provide excellent corrosion resistance without the need for painting or surface treatment.

Stainless steel, Type 4X enclosures keep machinery controls protected during wash downs. Fiberglass Electrical Enclosures

Molded under heat and pressure to produce superior chemical resistance in corrosive applications, fiberglass electrical enclosures are used both indoors and outdoors to house wireless equipment, terminal wiring, instrumentation, electrical controls, and other sensitive electrical or electronic components. The glass fiber reinforcement also increases impact resistance, produces a superior range of temperature limits and withstands tensile loads.

Fiberglass enclosures have a relatively low cost compared to others made with different materials. Yet, they are still strong, long lasting enclosures that protect against dust, dirt, oil and water. Most models also carry a NEMA 6 rating for temporary submersion.

Polycarbonate enclosures are the first choice for many engineers for a variety of reasons.

  • Polycarbonate is exceptionally strong and polycarbonate enclosures can withstand greater impact than most of their counterparts. Because of their durability, they typically outlast the lifetime of the electrical equipment they house.
  • Polycarbonate enclosures can easily withstand constant stress in a wide range of environments, especially those outdoors exposed to elements like rain, dust and sun. They are the most naturally UV resistant of any enclosure.
  • Polycarbonate enclosures are naturally clear, allowing for visual inspection of electrical equipment inside.
